Supervision Assist Management
The clinical supervision process is essential for a supervisee’s skill building, professional development, and their patient outcomes. It is one of the most important experiences for a student during their graduate career, as well as, an integral and satisfying part of supervisors’ jobs. However, the management of the supervision process can be time consuming and stressful.
Supervision Assist was designed to simplify management, documentation, and communication in the supervision process. The following is a sample of tools that will assist in your Supervision management.
The ”Activity Log” shows the time a trainee spends on a variety of activity types including Time on Site, Direct Client Service, Site and Faculty Supervision, Client Case Management, and more. From the activity log you may view and comment on journal entries, and verify the hours a Trainee spent on site. The Activity log is organized into work weeks that may be verified and printed into weekly reports.
Time Reporting and Verification
Supervision Assist can create weekly reports of the hours entered in a student’s activity log. Activities are verified by the counselor and trainee as the semester progresses. An E-signature for the site supervisor and trainee assists in documentation of all hours.
Journal notes are attached to Activity logs and are always accessible by supervisors to provide helpful comments. Helpful prompts during the creation of Journal entries remind the Trainee to think reflec- tive and offer tips to assist in creating quality entries.
